Research indicates this expansion in population will cause an almost continuous band of urban development along the Southwest Florida coast and population will spillover to adjacent inland counties.(DeSoto, Glades and Henry counties.) The result will be an almost continuous urban strip linking these counties to the East coast of Florida. 

    

The Newspapers are already reporting an increase in home sales and value. The temporary slowdown in Real Estate sales and Housing prices has corrected the market and now making it affordable buy a home.
